I get the sense of hope abandoned, which is something we can all relate to at some point in our lives, whether it be hope in ourselves, or in a greater power, or in life itself.<br /><br />I like your use of the coffee table. Such a common piece of furniture. Useful, yet home to all our curiousities that we display for company to observe. And the perfect place for the skull of God (or some other hope abandoned) to reside.
